Duncan Greenfield-Turk
I’m Duncan Greenfield-Turk, and I’ve spent my life crafting extraordinary journeys that leave lasting impressions.
Born in South Africa, my roots are steeped in diversity and adventure, and this inspires my approach to luxury travel design. With years of expertise, a deep global network, and an unwavering passion for detail, I founded Global Travel Moments and curate experiences that go far beyond the ordinary. Our journeys span the globe, but our core regions of expertise include Southeast Asia, Southern Africa, and Western Europe. We focus on destinations that are culturally rich, visually stunning, and inclusive. We only curate travel to places where our clients will feel safe, seen, and inspired.
Can I book just a hotel, resort, or cruise?
Yes. If you’ve already selected a destination and would like help booking a luxury hotel, villa, or cruise, we’re happy to assist. Our preferred partnerships often unlock exclusive amenities such as upgrades, early check-in, or resort credits, available only through our network.
What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?
We remain available to support you throughout your journey. Whether it’s a change in local conditions, delayed flights, or an emergency, we work with our global partners to adapt your plans quickly. Your peace of mind is our priority, and we’re just a message or call away.
Do you offer help with visas, entry requirements, or vaccination rules?
We provide general guidance on entry, visa, health, and vaccination requirements for your destination. It is your responsibility to check the latest official advice and ensure you meet the criteria for travel. We’ll always flag any key considerations, especially those affecting LGBTQIA+ travellers
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Most travel suppliers require appropriate travel insurance, and we strongly recommend it for all travellers. For specific coverage recommendations, we suggest speaking to a licensed travel insurance broker or agency. Your travel advisor can provide general guidance and help identify what factors to consider.
Can you organise a celebration or special occasion during my trip?
Yes. We love helping clients celebrate life’s big (and small) moments. From honeymoons and proposals to birthdays and anniversaries, we create meaningful, indulgent experiences designed around your occasion — and your style.
Do you offer family-friendly luxury travel?
Absolutely. We specialise in creating luxury family holidays that combine comfort, culture, and curated experiences for travellers of all ages. Whether you’re after a villa stay, city break, safari, or cultural immersion, we’ll ensure the itinerary is enjoyable, safe, and inclusive for your whole family.
Do you work with solo travellers, couples, families, and groups?
Yes. We design tailored experiences for solo travellers, couples, multi-generational families, and groups of friends or chosen families. Whether you’re travelling to relax, reconnect, or celebrate, we ensure your journey reflects your identity, priorities, and travel style.
Can I display affection with my partner during the trip?
Cultural attitudes towards public displays of affection can vary greatly by destination. Where appropriate, we will provide destination-specific guidance in advance. Our aim is always to empower you to feel safe, informed, and respected wherever you travel.
Do you guarantee privacy and confidentiality?
Yes. Your personal information, identity, and preferences are treated with the utmost discretion. We share only what is necessary with partners to deliver your experience smoothly — never more than required. Privacy is especially important to us when working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and families in more sensitive destinations.
How do you vet your local partners for LGBTQIA+ safety and inclusivity?
We work exclusively with partners who meet our standards of respect, safety, and discretion. This includes inclusive hotels, guides, and ground operators who have proven records of delivering exceptional service to LGBTQIA+ travellers. We regularly review feedback and collaborate only with those who align with our inclusive ethos.
Are there any destinations you won’t work with?
Yes. We do not design travel to destinations where the safety, dignity, or legal rights of LGBTQIA+ travellers are at risk. We continually review our destination list to ensure it reflects current legal, political, and social conditions that align with our values of inclusive, respectful travel.
Which destinations are safe for LGBTQIA+ travellers?
We only curate journeys to destinations we believe are safe, respectful, and welcoming for LGBTQIA+ travellers. We reference the LGBTQ+ Travel Safety Index alongside personal experience and trusted in-country insights. If a location’s climate or laws shift, we’ll work with you to adjust your plans as needed.
Are you LGBTQIA+ inclusive, including for trans and nonbinary travellers?
Absolutely. We design every itinerary with inclusivity at its core. We take the time to understand your identity, preferences, and travel comfort levels, and we work only with partners who reflect those values. From pronoun use to room configurations and destination safety, everything is handled with care and confidentiality.
How do cancellations, changes or refunds work?
Cancellations and amendments are subject to the policies of each travel supplier, such as hotels, cruise lines, or local operators. We provide transparent information before you confirm any booking. If your plans change, we’ll work with you and our partners to find the best possible solution. We always recommend appropriate travel insurance to protect your travel investment.
What is the booking process like?
The journey begins with a complimentary discovery call or an enquiry through our website. We take the time to understand your vision, preferences, and pace of travel before curating a bespoke itinerary. From hotel bookings and flights to in-country experiences and concierge services, every detail is handled seamlessly. All you have to do is enjoy the experience.

Do you charge a travel planning or research fee?
Yes. After our initial complimentary call, a Research & Planning Fee is required to proceed with designing your journey. This fee reflects the care, time, and expertise that goes into crafting each bespoke itinerary — from researching destinations and selecting trusted partners to building a seamless, indulgent travel experience that reflects your values.
